Hey all runners & walkers – here is the final update before the 2014 Harrigan’s 5k Charity Run. Get your green on for the party!
Great to see the forecast is for good running weather – typically cool, overcast spring day and no rain.
Please come to early packet pickup if you can – much easier than dealing with all those darn runners in the registration tent on race day. Up & Running, Thursday & Friday evening 4-7 pm.
Be sure to get your parking info ahead of time, and PLEASE respect the fact that our local retailers need a few parking slots in front of their stores for their actual customers.
Shirts are done and look gorgeous – the nicest we have ever brought to you (just our opinion, of course)
Schedule of events:
7:30 Registration opens under the big tent at Harrigan’s Tavern + music by South Community starts
8:00 Marshall Road closes to through traffic
9:00 Volunteers to be on stations around the course
9:15 Course Marshall verifies the course is ready
9:30 Race starts
10:30 Prizes are awarded (shoes, gift certificates)
10:45 Medal ceremony
